Her character, values, beliefs and behavior are being transformed and this transformation process is the theme for the HIGHQUEST Track II: Reflecting Christ Daily
This Track consists of two books: His Image and His Calling. Unlike the books in Tracks I ad III, this unit spends two weeks on a topic. The first week uses the spiritual discipline of Meeting with God but eh second adds Scripture memory and in-depth meditation. he format for the second week is called "Closer Look" because it provides an opportunity to go much deeper into the topic, focusing on the key verse being memorized. Combining Scripture memory and meditation provides a powerful way for God to transform our hearts.

The theme for His Image is the transformation of character and uses the metaphor of metamorphoses: changing from a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly is like the work of the Spirit to change us from our old way of life to the new way in Christ.

His Calling (click here for a sample)The emphasis is on the call of Jesus to be his disciple. There is often confusion regarding the meaning of the term disciple, but Jesus gave a very specific description in the Gospels. Using that description His Calling explores what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
The metaphor used in His Calling is found in Is 61:3 where God says we are …called to be oaks of righteousness”. The metaphor of the oak tree provides much insight into the Christian life. His Calling explores the root system, the trunk, and the canopy of the mighty oak tree to discover the specific qualities Jesus said are necessary to be his disciple. The topics covered in this unit include: • Called to be Like Jesus • Called to Abide in his Word • Called to Obedience • Called to Bear Fruit • Called to Love (Order Here) |
